HA NOI (VNS) — Ton Hoang Khanh Lan won three gold medals at the 18th National Bodybuilding Championships, which concluded in the southern Dong Nai province over the weekend.
The 37-year-old bodybuilder from Dong Nai bagged a gold medal in the women's over-52kg category, mixed doubles of over-52kg and women's fitness categories. She also won the Miss Best Body award.
"I tried my best in this event. I feel very happy to have won three gold medals," Lan said.
After this event, Lan will join the national bodybuilding team in participating in the seventh WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships that will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 24 to 30.
Helped by Lan's efforts, Dong Nai finished third in the Dong Nai tournament with three gold, four silver and two bronze medals.
Binh Duong took the lead with eight gold, two silver and three bronze medals. An Giang came second with five gold and two bronze medals. — VNS
