HA NOI (VNS) — On the occasion of the 70th anniversary celebrations of Viet Nam's National Day (September 2), Lao National Television officially broadcasted the first news-bulletin in Vietnamese to further strengthen the relationship between Laos and Viet Nam.
The bulletin is produced and aired live from 6pm to 6.15pm Monday to Friday every week by the Vietnamese News Department of Lao National Television.
By ensuring a comprehensive reflection of domestic and international events in Vietnamese, this news-bulletin is aimed at communicating and propagating the Lao State's policies for the Vietnamese community, living, studying and working in Laos.
It is expected to be an effective information channel for the Vietnamese in Laos as well as for the Lao people knowing Vietnamese, and will thus contribute towards promoting a close relationship between the two countries. — VNS
