HA NOI (VNS)– Nguyen Viet Linh won the fifth National Motor Racing Tournament, which ended in the southern province of Binh Phuoc on Sunday.
Linh, from Lucky Shop Lam Dong Club, won the professional category on 125cc and two-stroke engine vehicles. This is his second win this season.
"Rain affected speed, however, it gave a chance for motorists to show their skills and experience. I am very happy with this victory," said Linh.
Nguyen Ngoc Ho of Anh Em Club and Dong Quoc Tai of Vinh Club were the runners-up.
In the semi-pro event for racers of 135cc and four-stroke engine motors, Pham Ngoc Anh Tuan of HCM City's Viet Club, District 8 took first place.
The event attracted 28 pros and 32 semi-pro racers from across the country to the qualifying rounds.
Part of the event's profits will be sent to provincial funds for poor patients and children with heart disease. – VNS
