HCM CITY (VNS)— Seven-year-old Vietnamese-Korean entertainer Hwang Min-woo has arrived in HCM City for the public screening of Lo Lem Sai Gon (Sai Gon Cinderella), a Vietnamese-Korean film.
Known as "Little Psy" following his cameo appearance in singer Psy's Gangnam Style smash hit music video, Hwang first visited Viet Nam, his mother's country, late last year to film his guest role in the new picture.
He was enthusiastically welcomed by hundreds of fans at the Lotte Cinema Cong Hoa yesterday, where the young star posed with fans and gave autographs.
The boy also lit up the venue by performing his signature dance moves featured in Psy's two hits, Gangnam Style and Gentleman.
The film, set for a public screening on Friday, revolves around a Korean actor who comes to Viet Nam to judge a competition, before falling in love with a Vietnamese girl. The picture features a series of stunning dances performed by Hwang on streets of HCM City. — VNS
