Nguyen Xuan Loc won silver at the seventh Pan Pacific Petanque Championship 2013 which wrapped up at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas, Brunei, on Sunday.

Loc came second in the men's shooting open competition behind Phantipha Wongchuve of Thailand who won gold medal at the World Cup 2012, Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games.

The two-day tournament featured many teams from the Southeast Asian countries, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Viet Nam and Indonesia.-VNS
