HA NOI — The five-member hard rock band, Buc Tuong (The Wall), will return with a live performance tonight in Ha Noi.
Their show, entitled Nhiet (The Heat), is the band's first outing since they got together again last year after four years going their separate ways.
"We want our fans to see that our flame of love for rock still blazes," said band leader Tran Lap, explaining the name of the liveshow. "The show will bring enthusiasm not only to members of The Wall, but also to our audience."
Unlike the band's other previous shows, where all the members performed naturally, The Heat will present "mature" rockers, who will perform their rock songs in a sophisticated and technical style.
During the show at the National Exhibition Centre, Giang Vo Street, the band will perform their latest songs alongside the hits that created their name, including Bong Hong Thuy Tinh (The Glass Rose), Tam Hon Cua Da (Stone's Soul), Con Mua Hoang Da (The Wild Rain).
Founded in 1994 with students from different Ha Noi-based universities, the band is considered one of the most successful rock bands in Viet Nam, with a large fan base.
The Wall rocked the nation for 12 years and released albums Tam Hon Cua Da (Stone's Soul), Vo Hinh (Invisible) and Nam Cham (The Magnet). Their lastest album Ngay Khac (Another Day) was released right after their reunification last year. — VNS
