HO CHI MINH (VNS) — Dong Tam Long An has signed former player Mrwanda Danny David to complete their quota of three foreigners in their line-up.
The V-League side had tried-out a number of players, but finalised with the Tanzanian striker who played with Long An in 2011.
In 2012, David moved teams to complete a half season for SHB Da Nang, who later dropped him because of his poor performance.
David returned to Viet Nam after remaining in his hometown for 18 months. He first came to test at the First Division's Tay Ninh, and in the final minutes agreed to sign with Long An.
Apart from David, Long An have two other foreigners: defender Laerte Junior and midfielder Gilson CamPos. Both are from Brazil. — VNS
