Defender Quoc Long was ousted from the national team after displaying uncultured behaviour during the match between Ha Noi T&T and Sai Gon Xuan Thanh at the National Cup final on August 29.

His bad behaviour also costs Long a VND20 million (US$950) fine and a five-match suspension from the National Cup.

Two other players, Ngoc Duy and Van Quyet from Ha Noi T&T have been also criticised for their unacceptable behaviour during the match.

The Viet Nam Football Federation also fined Tu VND15 million and a four-match suspension, while Quyet received a two-match ban from the National Cup.-VNS
