HCM CITY (VNS) — Nearly 150 cyclists from 18 teams across the country will take part in the 24th Mekong River Delta Cycling Tournament, scheduled to kick off in HCM City tomorrow.
The nation's top athletes such as Le Van Duan, Mai Nguyen Hung and Do Tuan Anh will also partake in the event.
Riders will compete in a 1,038km eight-stage race through Mekong River Delta provinces. They will finish in Ben Tre Province on August 20.
This year's event is organised by the Viet Nam Sports Bicycle and Motorbike Association, and the Ben Tre provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. — VNS
