HCM CITY (VNS) — Michelin-starred Chef Mateo Metullio will serve an exclusive gastronomic journey in three Vietnamese cities from October 14 to 18.
Metullio will present a special week of contemporary Italian cuisine at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake (October 14), InterContinental Asiana Saigon (October 18), and the first Michelin-starred dinner in Nha Trang City at InterContinental Nha Trang (October 16).
From the city of Trieste, Metullio will showcase the culinary arts of northern Italy with his exquisite six-course dinner set menu.
Metullio is a rising star of northern Italian cuisine and the youngest-ever Michelin chef from Italy at the age of 25.
He has had a flourishing career since he was 19 years old, building a strong foundation as a member of the team at the St. Hubertus Restaurant led by world-famous two-star Michelin Chef Norbert Niederkofler.
Metullio then moved to La Siriola Restaurant as sous chef for the prestigious executive chef Fabio Cucchelli and succeeded him last year. He recently earned his own Michelin star. — VNS
