HA NOI (VNS) — Top badminton players Nguyen Tien Minh and Vu Thi Trang will leave for Paris to take part in the Yonex Internationaux de France de Badminton on October 21 to 26.

The tournament, one of the Super Series events of the World Badminton Federation, offers a US$275,000 prize for the winners.

Minh, ranked 24th in the world, will play Marc Zwiebler of Germany, ranked 21st, in the first round match of the men's singles event. Minh has so far won all of their five previous duels. Trang, ranked 59th, will begin in the qualification round, where she faces Matilda Petersen of Sweden, ranked 97th, in the women's singles event. — VNS
