HANOI (VNS) — Viet Nam's top player Nguyen Tien Minh dropped three places to the 20th spot on the world badminton rankings, the Badminton World Federation announced on Thursday.
Minh's performance at recent competitions has left him with a total point score of 43,470.
The world No 1 is Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia with 98,681 points, followed by Chen Long of China on 81,841 points and Jan O Jorgensen of Denmark on 75,713 points.
Notably, Olympic champion Lin Dan of China moved up four steps to ninth place in the world rankings. He used to fall out of top 100. — VNS
