Unseeded Boonsak made an impressive start and quickly won the first set 21-12. The Olympian Minh barely squeaked a win of 21-18 in the second set, and losing 21-19 in the third set.
Boonsak shocked fans by winning the title and defeating China's Wang Zhengming in the final match played yesterday.-VNS
