HA NOI (VNS) — Those who love Mongolian cinema will have the chance to watch the Life Like a Movie at the National Cinema Centre this Friday.
Directed by Shadav Dorjsuren, known as the country's best film director, the action comedy movie tells the story of a man, who falls in love with movie and imagines his life as a movie. He goes to bed suffering from the thoughts of his unfortunate love.
Once, he awakens from his sleep and goes to the bathroom; he finds himself in a very different place – an ancient village in Viet Nam. He finds that all his imaginations have come to reality and sees the woman he loves become a mermaid and his parents become gang leaders.
The 39-year-old director cum actor won the best actor in 2011 and best director a year later. He has worked on cinematography, television and theatre projects. The film also features Mongolian best actress Amgalanbaatar Mungunzul.
Life Like a Movie, a product of DOZ entertainment studio, marks the 60th anniversary of Viet Nam-Mongolian diplomatic relationship. The film will be screened at the Cinema Centre, 87 Lang Ha Street, Ba Dinh District, Ha Noi. — VNS
