HA NOI (VNS) – The annual Ba Ra Mountain Race will begin on January 4 in southern Binh Phuoc Province, with the participation of two neighbouring countries.

Runners from Laos and Cambodia will compete for the first time for the total bonus of VND100 million ($4,800).

Men will run 7.7km, women 5.4km, boys 6km and girls 5.4km.

There will also be men's and women's team events, with awards for the top delegation.

The Ba Ra race will be the first competition of Viet Nam's sport season. – VNS
