A music and art show will be held tonight at the Sai Gon Pearl urban
area in Binh Thanh District of HCM City to raise funds for the victims
of Super Typhoon Haiyan.
HCM CITY (VNS) — A music and art show will be held tonight at the Sai Gon Pearl urban area in Binh Thanh District of HCM City to raise funds for the victims of Super Typhoon Haiyan.
The programme is being sponsored by the Viet Nam Federation of UNESCO Associations and the UNESCO Centre for Culture – Education.
The show, which is expected to attract about 1,000 people to raise funds for the victims of the typhoon, which recently struck the Philippines.
Taking part in the performance will be Gipsynation band, designer Tommy Nguyen and models and beauty queens from recent beauty contests. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to meet and take photos with the performers.
All money collected at the show will be given to the Philippine Consulate General in HCM City. — VNS
