HA NOI (VNS) — Top Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam was knocked out in the first round of Egypt F28 Futures tennis tournament on August 26.
Nam lost to number eight seed Ugo Nastasi of Luxembourg 5-7, 3-6.
Nam, who won the Wimbledon boys' doubles 2015 title, left for the United States to prepare for the US Open 2015's junior event.
Earlier this year, Nam had reached the Men's Futures' quarter-finals in both the Thailand and Indonesia tournaments.
After the US Open, Nam will return to Viet Nam to compete in the National Tennis Championships, scheduled to be held in HCM City from September 15 to 24. — VNS
