HA NOI (VNS) — Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam will take part in the Australian Open's junior circus year in January, the first Grand Slam of the year.
Nam, ranked No 70 in the world, received a wild card to compete in the main round at the tournament.
The Open will begin on January 19.
Last year, Nam won a berth here, but withdrew at the last minutes to take part in his South American tour, which was previously scheduled.
Before Nam, teammate Nguyen Hoang Thien also participated in 2011, but was eliminated in an early match. — VNS
