The national football team beat V-League runner-up Ha Noi T&T 2-1 in a friendly match at the Ha Noi-based Hang Day Stadium on Monday.

Ha Noi T&T opened the score in the 17th minute with a goal from Samson Kayode, but Quoc Anh levelled the game five minutes later. The winning goal came from Nguyen Gia Tu in the 33rd minute to give the national team victory.

In the previous warm-up match in preparation for the upcoming qualifying rounds for the Asian Cup 2015, Viet Nam defeated Vicem Hai Phong 2-0 at Hai Phong Stadium on Saturday.

Tomorrow, the team will play another friendly against South Korea's Hyundai Mipo Dolphin at Hang Day Stadium.-VNS
