final preparations for the Southeast Asian Championships in Myanmar.
HA NOI (VNS)—Viet Nam's U16 football team have returned to Ha Noi to begin their final preparations for the Southeast Asian Championships in Myanmar.
The team has played two testing matches recently, losing 0-3 to Song Lam Nghe An U17s and earning a goalless draw against Thanh Hoa U17s.
With only two weeks remaining at the training centre in Ha Noi, coach Dinh Van Dung and his players will shift their focus to physical training before leaving for Naypyidaw City.
Viet Nam have been drawn in Group A which features Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia and Australia.
Viet Nam will play against hosts Myanmar in the opening match.
Group B is made up of Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore.-VNS
