THUA THIEN-HUE (VNS)– Ngo Bao Nghi from Ba Ria-Vung Tau scored 143 after two days of competition to win the Faldo Series Viet Nam at Laguna Lang Co Golf club on Sunday.
Nghi, who competed in the women's under-21 competition, finished the first day with 73 strokes, but she did better on the second and final day with 70 storkes to win the championship.
It's the fourth title for the 20-year-old.
Do Le Gia Dat won the men's under-21 title as he completed the two-day event with 150.
In the boy's under-16 competition, Truong Chi Quan grabbed the prize with 147, while Tran Chieu Duong took the girl's title with 158.
The four winners at the tournament also qualify to join Nick Faldo for the eighth Asia Grand Final at Mission Hills Golf Club in China next March. – VNS
