HA NOI (VNS) — Tran Nguyen Duy Nhan of Military 2 won the 10th stage of the Trans-Viet cycling tournament yesterday.

Nhan biked 155km from Ha Noi's suburban district of Soc Son to Bac Kan Province for the race, ending with a time of 3 hours and 55.20 minutes.

Nguyen Huu Tien of Ha Noi came second, followed by Do Tri Dung of Vinamit HCM City.

Finishing in the second group nearly 2min later, Nguyen Thanh Tam of Gao Hat Ngoc Troi An Giang maintained tour leader status with a total time of 28:12.06.

Le Ngoc Son of Domesco Dong Thap 1 and Ariya Phounsanath of Laos' CCN Team were the runners-up.

Domesco Dong Thap topped the team ranking. ADC-Vinh Long Television came in second and HCM City third.

Participants will cycle from Bac Kan to Cao Bang Province during the 11th stage today. Riders will have to conquer five steep hills: Giang, Gio, Khau Khang, Cao Bac and Tai Ho Sin. — VNS
