HA NOI (VNS) — The International Chinese Chess (Xiangqi) Tournament began in the northern Ninh Binh Province on December 15.
Twenty domestic and foreign players, such as masters Nguyen Hoang Lam, Trenh A Sang and Lai Ly Huynh, are playing in Groups A and B.
The tournament, which aims to help the domestic players hone their skills and gain experience, will end on December 20.
The winner will walk away with a prize of VND30 million (US$1,360). — VNS
