A couple of years ago, the Bookworm's manager Nguyen Kien started to collect discarded ceramic bowls and plates made during and prior to the 1976-86 "Thoi ky bao cap" (Subsidy Era) period.

The blue and white ceramics are now a rarity, but Kien has started his own cafe at the Agriculture University to display a selection of his extensive handmade collection at Bookworm Too.

All exhibits on display at No 6, 1/28 Au Co, Tay Ho District are for sale.-VNS
