The outdoor US Independence Day Picnic hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ha Noi will take place on Saturday at the American Club, 21 Hai Ba Trung Street, from 4-10pm.

The fun-filled day will feature a range of games for children including face painting and a gigantic bouncy castle while a circus performance will amaze people of all ages.

Music fans will be treated to performances by Hi-Jinks and the 4UBand, as well as some classic American summertime tunes from a popular DJ.

Much laughter is also expected from the fourth annual watermelon eating contest, where there will be some special prizes for the winners.

On the occassion of US Independence Day, a day-long food and beverage promotion will be hosted at the Hard Rock Cafe in HCM City.
