HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam went down 2-0 to Pakistan in the semi-finals of the Junior Davis Cup pre-qualifier in Kuching yesterday.

Viet Nam will meet Kazakhstan who lost 1-2 to Syria in the other semi-final match for the third place today in the Asia/Oceania division.

Although the team didn't reach the final, the Viet Nam Tennis Federation has awarded US$1,000 to the team for their efforts.

In the Davis Cup 2014 qualifier earlier this month, the Vietnamese senior team lost to Pakistan 2-3 in Da Lat City. — VNS
