Asia Pacific Onboard Travel today will present a certificate recognising Da Nang for making the world's longest spring roll. More than 600 people worked together to make the spring roll in June last year on the beach at Hyatt Regency Hotel. It took from early morning until noon. They made it from 250kg of chicken and prawn, 200kg of fresh rice vermicelli, 50kg of rice paper, escarole lettuce and mint leaves. It weighed 500kg and measured 500m in length. The Guiness World Records also recognised the spring roll for its length, and the Viet Nam Records organisation recognised the dish as a country specialty. — VNS Photo Hoai Nam
