HCM CITY — Vietnamese contemporary artist Dao Anh Khanh will give a live performance art demonstration in HCM City from today.

Born in 1959 in Ha Noi, Khanh is among Asian artists who are breaking away from traditional and stylistic constraints.

Khanh will perform every day at the three-day event.

Paintings by Vietnamese contemporary artists Nguyen Than, Nguyen Tan Cuong and Nguyen Minh Phuong will also be exhibited.

The show is being organised for the first time by painter Uy Phuong (Nguyen Than's daughter) who lived and worked in Switzerland. It is expected to be held every three months.

The event will be held in Phuong's house, at 3153/36 Pham The Hien road, Ward 7, District 8 in HCM City. Entrance is free.-VNS
