Peruvian food and films to lure Vietnamese audiences
Noted chef Maria Rosa Vasquez Chavez will perform a cooking show at Melia Hotel Hanoi in the morning of November 24. The chef will demonstrate techniques used in cooking some traditional Peruvian dishes such as Ceviche, Causa and Salad Quinoa, along with two popular drinks: Pisco Sour and Algarrobina.
The event will gather ambassadors of Latin American countries and their spouses, as well as other professional cooks.
Another cooking class featuring Peruvian food will be organised at the Bep Viet Company Building at 142 Le Duan Street in the afternoon of the same day. The show will gather professional cooks from noted hotels here.
The same cooking class will be held on November 27 at HCM City's Asia-Europe Vocational School at Chu Van An Villas, 26 Ward, Binh Thanh District.
The first ever Peruvian film festival will be held from December 5 to 7 at the Cinematheque at 22A Hai Ba Trung Street here. As many as five movies, including The Milk of Sorrow, Santiago's Life and I'm Still Here, will be screened with Vietnamese subtitles. — VNS
