HCM CITY — Two hundred photographs selected by the HCM City Photographers Club are on display at an exhibition titled Mua Xuan va Du Lich Bien Dao Viet Nam (Spring and Tourism in Viet Nam's Islands and Seas) in HCM City.
The colour as well as black-and-white photos taken by the club's members working for tourism publications depict the beauty of the spring season and landscapes, people, soldiers and other images of Vietnamese islands and seas.
Speaking at the opening ceremony on Monday, Le Xuan Thang, deputy chairman of the Viet Nam Artistic Photographers' Association, thanked the photographers for presenting the beauty and diversity of Viet Nam to both domestic and international audiences.
The photos also aimed to inspire patriotism and love for the nation's islands and seas, he said.
The exhibition, held at the HCM City Journalists Association's office in District 1, will remain open until February 7.
