BINH DUONG (VNS) — More than 50 players will compete in the third Binh Duong International Three-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament to be held in southern Binh Duong Province between August 15 and 18, according to Do Van Trung, head of the organising board.
There will be 47 domestic players and five foreign players, including the best players from South Korea and Japan, like Cho Jea-ho, Heo Jung-han, Arai Tasuo and Takeshima O.
Players will compete in a knock-out form through the tournament.
Winners will walk away with total prizes of VND100 million (US$4,800).
"This is a chance for domestic players to hone their skills for the National Sports Games to be held in December and the 28th SEA Games in Singapore next June," said Huynh Van Hiep, tournament's chief referee. — VNS
