HA NOI (VNS)– A night of Chopin will be performed by pianist Krystian Tkaczewski at the Viet Nam National Academy of Music (VNAM), 77 Hao Nam Street, Ha Noi, on Thursday.
The concert is being co-organised by VNAM and the Polish embassy to Ha Noi, bringing one of the most talented Polish pianists to local audiences.
Born in 1980 in Tarnow, Poland, Tkaczewski has been hailed as a virtuoso. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Wroclaw with a Master of Arts degree.
Presently he is pursuing a doctorate in musical arts at the University of Hartford, Connecticut, in the US. Tkaczewski has performed in about 15 countries in four continents.
His debut performance at Carnegie Hall in 2007 was very well-received.
He will give masterclasses at VNAM from June 19 – 20 before the solo performance. – VNS
