HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched a project to promote the advantages of nighttime tourism by 2025.

Under the project, 12 localities will have at least one model of nighttime tourism development by 2025 to attract domestic and international visitors, increase their expenditure and prolong their stays in the country.

It also aims to boost the advantages of night services to diversify Việt Nam’s tourism products, making them sustainable, high-quality and bringing more value to the country and enhance its tourism brand and competitiveness.

The project also sets out solutions for urban planning and management, mechanisms and policies, organisation and management of services, human resources, investment, market orientation, advertisement, promotion and application of information and technology.

Regarding the policies for project implementation, cities and provinces will consider the current laws and the real conditions of their localities to propose adjustments related to the time of providing services.

Notably, a database will be built to support the concerted and efficient management of night tourism activities.

According to the project, there will be mechanisms to attract investments in building large-scale general entertainment complexes of international standards.
