The Promotional Fund for Talented Vietnamese Footballers (PVF) U15 team beat Viettel 1-0 in the final of the National U15 Football Championship, the Hyundai Vinashin Cup, in an exciting match to successfully defend their title at HCM City's Thong Nhat Stadium.

Nguyen Vu Tin scored the only goal of the game for PVF in the 50th minute.

Son Tay and Dong Thap shared third place in the competition

With some outstanding performances in this year's event, Tin was awarded the best player of the tournament while his teammate Phan Van Bieu won the best goalie award. The top scorer award went to Viettel's Hoang The Tai.

The event attracted eight teams, namely PVF, Dac Lac, Viettel, An Giang, Son Tay, Ha Noi, HCM City and Dong Thap.-VNS
