Tran Van Quyen of Military Zone 7 won the 12th stage of the HCM City Television Cup yesterday.

Quyen took the lead over 83 cyclists to take in the 132km stage from Tuy Hoa to Nha Trang in a time of 3:29.39 with a top speed of 37.777kph.

Do Tuan Anh, of Dong Thap Domesco Pharmacy, and Le Van Duan, of Eximbank HCM City, finished second and third.

The green jersey as best sprinter went to Duan with 102 points.

Tran Thanh Dien of Sai Gon Plant Protection continued to take the yellow jersey with the best overall time of 35:34.48, followed by his teammate Le Ngoc Thanh along with Huynh Thanh Tung of Military Zone 7.

An Giang Plant Protection took the lead in the team's rankings with a combined time of 106:47.25, followed by Military Zone 7 and Sai Gon Plant Protection.-VNS
