HA NOI (VNS)—Truong Mai Nhat Linh will represent Viet Nam at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships from August 28-September 1 in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.
Linh spent a short spell training in Russia to improve her skills and array of experiences.
The Vietnamese-Ukrainian girl will compete in all disciplines: ball, ribbon, clubs and hoop.
The 32nd tournament attracts great competitors, such as the Asia Champion Son Yeon-jae of South Korea, Silvia Miteva of Bulgaria, Alina Maksymenko of Ukraine and Neta Rivkin of Israel. Linh is therefore expected to face many challenges.
The championships will welcome 103 athletes from 56 different countries and territories competing in four individual categories and team pools.-VNS
