HCM CITY (VNS) — The national road race cycling team has been assembled with 18 athletes preparing to participate in various international competitions in 2015.

While some veteran cyclists have been ignored this year, coaches have recruited several young players, as part of a plan to rejuvenate the team.

The 10 male athletes will train under Kyrgyzstan's expert coach Nikolai Kurkov and five local coaches at the National Sport Training 2 camp in HCM City.

The players will compete in many international events, including the 27th Southeast Asian Games in Singapore, which will be their top priority. — VNS
