HA NOI (VNS) — About 1,500 people will take part in the final round of the 42nd annual Ha Noi Moi Run Tournament on Sunday at Ha Noi's Sword Lake.
The participants will come from 82 teams nationwide, including nearly 350 foreigners and 200 professional Vietnamese runners.
The event aims to celebrate the 61st anniversary of Ha Noi's Liberation Day (October 10) and the 16th anniversary of Ha Noi being recognised as a UNESCO City for Peace.
Since its launch, the tournament has drawn the participation of more than 30,000 people in the qualifying rounds, making it the largest such event so far. — VNS
