HA NOI (VNS) — A series of arts performances and events celebrating Russian culture will be held in Ha Noi, HCM City and the southern province of Binh Duong between November 11 and 17.
The official opening ceremony for the Russian Cultural Days programme and an arts performance will be organised at Ha Noi's Opera House on November 12 gathering dozens of Russian artists.
The show will also be performed at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on November 15 and Binh Duong Culture Centre on the next day.
The events are organised by Viet Nam's Ministry of Culture and its Russian counterpart.
Russia and Viet Nam have long enjoyed a strategic relationship. Two-way trade turnover reached US$2.45 billion last year, a 23 per cent increase against the previous year. During the first three months of this year, two-way turnover scored $734 million, $418 million of which was from Vietnamese exports to Russia. – VNS
