DA NANG (VNS)— Representatives from Russian travel agencies and media organisations will join familiarisation (FAM) trips to destinations in Quang Nam on June 21-26, the provincial department of culture, sport and tourism confirmed yesterday.

The trips will stop at the newly-opened Phu Ninh eco-tourism resort, 7km west of the province's Tam Ky City.

The resort covers a mostly forested area of 23,000ha, including a 3,400ha lake with 30 islets.

The site is ideal for kayaking, camping, trekking and relaxing by hot springs.

Visitors will also tour a silk village and enjoy a cuisine festival night, community tours and night art performances in Hoi An Town.

Last year, 400 visitors from Russian travel agencies joined FAM trips to Hoi An. — VNS
