HOI AN — The Hoi An People's Committee has approved a project to upgrade the Sa Huynh Culture Museum at a cost of VND2.2 billion (US$100,000). Over 1,000 objects on display in the museum illustrate the lives of people of the Sa Huynh culture which dates back 2,000 years. Located on Tran Phu Street, the museum was created out of a research project on Sa Huynh culture conducted in 1993-95 and sponsored by the Toyota Foundation. It first opened in 1994.-VNS
