HA NOI (VNS)– Coach Tran Tien Dai of Xuan Thanh Sai Gon (XTSG) was banned four matches and fined VND10 millions (US$480) because of bad behaviour.
During the V-League's latest Round 2 match between his team and Hai Phong on May 14, Dai is alleged to have yelled at supervisor Doan Phu Tan when he did not agree with the referees' decision.
As the result, Dai will have an "interval" when XTSG travel to Long An to compete against host Dong Tam Long An this weekend.
It was the second time Dai was banned for bad behaviour. The first time was after a match between XTSG and SHB Da Nang on March 29.
In the next three matches, XTSG will play Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Hai Phong and Becamex Binh Duong.– VNS
