Vietnamese club Sai Gon Heat triumphed over Malaysia's Westports Dragons 70-69 in the ASEAN Basketball League after a dramatic match at the Tan Binh Gymnasium on Sunday.

Tiras Wade hit a three-point shot to boost the score to 69-66 for the Dragons with 42sec left. In an exciting move, Viet Nam team's Jahmar Thorpe hit two shots to secure a win for the Heat with 5.6sec left on the clock.

Jonathan Jones of the Heat scored 19 points with 22 rebounds while Thorpe contributed 18 points.

Sai Gon Heat will host the Philippines' AirAsia Patriots tomorrow.-VNS
