HCM CITY (VNS) — Saigon Heat enjoyed their first win of the ASEAN Basketball League season on Saturday on their home turf in HCM City.
The Vietnamese side came from behind to beat Mono Vampire of Thailand 78-73.
Will Creekmore (11 points) and Viet Arnold (23) scored the most points for the hosts, and together with Lenny Daniel (26) helped the team overcome Mono Vampire in the third and fourth sets to enjoy their first victory.
In the next match, they travel to Thailand to play Hi-Tech Bangkok City, who are now on top of the ranking table, as of Thursday.
Previously, Saigon Heat lost 74-86 to Singapore Slingers and 92-100 to Westports Malaysia Dragons. — VNS
