HA NOI (VNS)— The Institute of Literature in Ha Noi will organise a seminar on the novels of writer Nguyen Xuan Khanh next Monday.
The 80-year-old is author of Ho Quy Ly (1336-1407), the founder of the Ho dynasty, published in 2000 and now in its 15th reprint; and Mau Thuong Ngan (Mountain Goddess), published in 2006 and now in its 6th reprint.
Khanh won the Viet Nam Writers' Association's top prize in 2011 for his novel Doi Gao Len Chua (Bring Rice to the Pagoda).
Previous seminars at the institute featured Ta Duy Anh, Nguyen Quang Thieu, and Tran Anh Thai. — VNS
