DA NANG (VNS)— Hosts SHB Da Nang will pick their best squad for the second-leg game against Malaysia's Kelantan in the Asian Football Confederation Cup today.

In the first leg game at Sultan Mohammad IV Stadium in Kelantan, Da Nang suffered a heavy 5-0 loss to rank second in group G.

Da Nang, who took two wins over Myanmar's Ayeyawady United 2-1 at home, and Maziya Sports&Recreation from the Maldives 3-2 away, hope to exact revenge at home today for their first-leg loss in Malaysia, and to go top of the group.

Kelantan, who had two wins and a draw to lead the group with seven points, will field substitutes for injured key players.

"Da Nang and Kelantan are two big teams in the group and we hope to qualify for next group stage," Bojan Hodak, coach of Kelatan said yesterday. "In the first-leg match, Da Nang could not field their best squad, and they missed two clear opportunities to score.

"I think today's match will be tough because Da Nang play with home support and at full power."

Da Nang's coach Le Huynh Duc complained that the first-leg loss resulted from an exhausting schedule.

"We had to play eight games last month. We were too tired, with the national football championship, V-League, National Cup and AFC Cup," he said.

Meanwhile, young players will have to make up for the absence of key players who are injured or have yet to recover from tough matches last month.

Today's match will be played at 4.30pm local time.

The other match of the group will be between Myanmar's Ayeyawady United and Maziya, in Yangon, Myanmar, at 5pm.
