The Future Shorts Film Festival will screen outstanding short films at
two coffee shops, Snap Cafe on July 28, and Decibel Lounge on July 30.
The Future Shorts Film Festival will screen outstanding short films at two coffee shops, Snap Cafe on July 28, and Decibel Lounge on July 30.
The screening will feature American director Grainger David's 2012 The Chair, which won the South by Southwest Film Festival Jury Award, and Swedish director Frida Kempff's Micky Bader (Bathing Micky), winner of the 2010 Cannes Festival Jury Prize for Short Films. Also screened will be South Korean-based Kangmin Kim's animation 38-39oC on a father-son relationship.
The show will start at 7.30pm at Snap Cafe, 32 Tran Ngoc Dien St in District 2, and at 8pm at Decibel Lounge, 79/2/5 Phan Ke Binh St in District 1.
Admission is VND60,000; VND30,000 for students with IDs; and free for film-makers. — VNS
