Singapore releases SEA Games music


The Singapore Southeast Asian Games Organising Committee (SINGSOC) has launched the official music album for the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be held in Singapore from June 5 to 16.

HA NOI (VNS) — The Singapore Southeast Asian Games Organising Committee (SINGSOC) has launched the official music album for the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be held in Singapore from June 5 to 16.

The album called, Songs of the Games features 14 songs sung by top singers from Singapore.

It includes the three official theme songs of the Games, namely Greatest, Ordinary and Unbreakable, which will be presented at the event's opening and closing ceremony.

Lim Teck Yin, chairman of SINGSOC Executive Committee, said he hoped the album will inspire and "enhance the experience" of the SEA Games.

Listeners can download the album free-of-charge from the official SEA Games website, Spotify, Amped and Deezer.

The songs are also available for purchase on iTunes, with prices ranging from S$1.28 to $1.48 per song and $9.98 for the whole album.

A portion of the proceeds from iTunes sales will go towards the SportCares Foundation, set up to enable and empower the under-resourced to live better lives through sport.

The 28th SEA Games will draw participation of around 7,000 athletes and officials from 11 regional countries, competing in 36 events for 402 sets of medals.

Viet Nam will send more than 600 athletes to compete in 27 events, with the aim of earning 50 to 70 gold medals. — VNS
