HCM CITY(VNS) — Aspiring singers are being offered a chance to showcase their talents on the world stage, after it was announced that Viet Nam would debut at the Karaoke World Championships 2012 in Finland this December.

From September to October, anyone with a passion for pop music can register for auditions via the internet. Candidates can sing in Vietnamese or English.

The final round of the Viet Nam heats will take place in HCM City on October 27, with the winner going through to the world championships in Finland.

The Finland finals will gather music lovers aged 18 and above from more than 30 countries in the world.-VNS
