HCM CITY — The Coca-Cola and Samsung companies jointly announced on Friday that a music festival they will organise next month would "bring a new and interesting music experience to Vietnamese youth".
The concert, called SoundFest, will be held at the Phu Tho Stadium in HCM City's District 11 on April 14. It will help young Vietnamese link up with favourite music trends of the youth around the world, the organisers said.
SoundFest will last the whole day, featuring performances of many music genres including rock, hip hop, pop and Kpop.
It will bring together well-known singers and bands in Viet Nam and the region, including Big Bang from South Korea and Tatayoung from Thailand.
Singers and bands to perform at SoundFest also include Buc Tuong, Unlimited, MicroWave, Ha Okio, Thao Trang, Tien Dat, Thanh Bui, SuBoi, Van Mai Huong, Phuong Vy, and Pham Anh Khoa.
Billed by organisers as the "The Ultimate Music Festival", SoundFest will also feature cultural exchanges, costume parties, performance art and adventure games (X-Games). — VNS
